Community

Desired Outcomes

The goal of supported living is to support individuals to live as independently as they can. But it is also about supporting them to become contributing members of their communities through volunteering and employment (if desired). As each of us reaches out to our neighbors, the fabrics of communities are woven tighter and stronger. Everyone has something to contribute.

Who Is Best Suited For This?

  • People who are aging out of the Foster Care System and wish to live on their own.
  • People who need assistance utilizing independent living skills in a practical setting.
  • People who are with family and need additional assistance to live on their own.
  • People who are living in a Lifesharing or a group home that have a desire to live on their own.
